Driver of the Year 2002

Each year at our annual
drivers appreciation picnic, we choose a driver
of the month for each month of the previous year.
Our selection consists of accuracy with daily
logs, paperwork, safety, daily check calls, maintenance
and much more. Each driver chosen receives a $100.00
check, a company polo shirt and a commemorative
plaque. Our award winners for the year of 2001-2002
are as follows:

Our Drivers Appreciation Picnic is also when
we announce our Driver of the Year. This is the
driver who stands out, in categories such as:
safety, personal appearance, daily logs, unit
maintenance, and daily check calls, just to name
a few. The chosen driver of the year receives
$500.00 check, a company polo shirt, a company
winter jacket and several commemorative plaques.
We have added a new 500,000 safe miles award
and a 750,000 safe miles award. These awards show
our appreciation to the drivers who have received
500,000 and 750,000 miles, respectively throughout
the 1999-2000 year. Each driver receives a commemorative
plaque, a 500,000 or 750,000 safe mile certificate
from our insurance carrier, a $500.00 or $750.00
savings bond and a company jacket. In addition,
our 750,000 safe mile drivers receive a ring,
acknowledging this amazing accomplishment.
